Introductory Comments:
- The primary purpose of this "Inspirational Corner" is to provide inspirational messages from a variety of people.
- Why did I decide to create a separate page for inspirational message because it appears we are living in a day and time or place in time where people often need to be encouraged and supported in not only being creative, but also in how to live life in a positive manner.
- I am a great fan of Dr. Maya Angelou and after receiving the Presidential Medal of Honor, she suggested and quoted a playwright named, Terentius Lucanus, from the Roman Republic and of North Africa descent and he quote is
"I am a human being, I consider nothing that is human alien to me".
- I also researched this quote and another way this quote is mentioned, "I am a man, I consider nothing that is human alien to me".
- I was very moved by this quote. I started to wonder is it possible that nothing created and done by human beings is alien to me? On the one hand, this quote sounds powerful, but on the other hand it is difficult to practice and apply to real life.
